The Buddhist Monk With A Lot Of Time On His Hands

So, this monk decided to carve out a series of tunnels in a mountain with his bare hands for thirty years.
Seriously. For real. Not playing.
The tunnels where we are sitting under, where the CARS are driving under. He did that WITH HIS BARE HANDS for... say it with me now, class... THIRTY YEARS.

I swear to you that when I stilled myself at the monk's shrine located in one of his tunnels, TIME suddenly stopped. We all felt suspended in a moment of stillness, a moment of right now and it was utterly all-consuming. I am not kidding. Afterwards--it only lasted about a second or two that I did it--Jorge asked, "Yo, did you guys feel that?"
